Our board of directors’ key purpose is to ensure the company’s prosperity by collectively directing the company’s affairs, whilst meeting the appropriate interests of its shareholders and stakeholders.
The board of directors has many responsibilities that include some of the following:
- Establishing the company’s vision, mission and values by setting the pace for its current operations and future development.
- Ensure that the company’s organisational structure and capabilities are appropriate for present and future opportunities, threats and risks in the external environment.
- Determine business strategies and plans for the current and future strengths and weaknesses of the company.
- Exercising accountability to shareholders and be responsible to relevant stakeholders by maintaining opens lines of communication, taking in account the interests of its members whilst promoting goodwill and support as is needed.
- Determine and review company goals and policies.
- Hiring top executives.
